Selfi – the killer…. !

A small story to begin with. Today morning while passing by in an underpass in my car near Hubli-Dharwad bypass saw something unusual. It hit my mind. A young man of age around 20-22 is sitting on the wall of the bridge with knee bended. The wall width is just 6 inch wide. Suddenly a thought came into mind that “might be he is attempting for a suicide?". By chance if he jumps from there within no time his body will be crushed under the wheels of heavy trucks passing continuously there. My eyes are still on him from the long distance. After 5 seconds he raised his right hand towards sky. I too looked at sky thinking he may be looking for sun or a flight there. But no as it was rainy season, sun was not visible due to clouds and no flights. Then what he was doing there with the hand. Then i noticed something in his hand. I got surprised and then shocked. He was holding mobile phone in his right hand and taking selfi sitting on the tiny wall of the bridge, putting himself under risk of life. And off course lot of worries to his parents and other family members.

Is this mobile phone is bringing really so much happiness in our life?

Selfi – the killer….  !    You take selfi and then selfi will take you.....

Just thought to share with you all. Please keep away this killer…..

Great Doctors Around us

ನಾ ರಾ ಯ ಣ   ಮೂ ರ್ತಿ  Narayana Murthy , no, we are not talking about our well known IT chief  from Benagluru, but this less known person from the same state, Karnataka, India, excels in helping thousands of patients ailing from different disease, from kidney stones to heart diseases to different kinds of cancers. Popularly known as Vaidya Narayana Murthy , around 60 years of age, is from a small village called Narasipura which is around 50 km from Shimoga, Karnataka, India. He is also known as battru in the area. Murthy, basically a brahmin farmer, carries the age-old tradition of Ayruvedic treatment with the help of some NGOs. Every Sundays and Thursdays people from various parts of Southern India start to queue up in front of his house early in the morning. With the help from his family and aides, Murthy serves his patients. On these days, he treats around 600 to 700 patients troubled by different diseases.

Nature Lovers Spot - Kanakumbi

The year 2020 was quite disturbing to all . The pandemic situation brought lot of changes and a different kind of fear in the social life.  After the 1st lockdown opened, we were looking for a good , no crowded place to visit and relax the mind.  And we decided to visit kanakumbi location along with my other close friend family .    From Belagavi , its just a 50 km ride. You can drive deeply into the chilled Western ghats forest and sure will enjoy the nature. Once you reach Kanakumbi village, just a take a left turn and can take the guidance from the local people for the navigation. After a 10-15 minutes drive you are now in the heaven.  The mist welcome you to the beauty of the falls. Just Enjoy the nature now. Direction- Google Map
